(August 29, 2010) The Library Trustees and staff would like to welcome Minerva Local Schools students and staff as they begin another school year. Most Minerva Elementary School students will visit the library regularly with their classes, as will some students from the Minerva Middle School. Many students will visit the library, even if briefly, on their own after school. We welcome all students to the library and are happy to provide a comfortable place for you to visit. Students and their parents should keep in the mind that the library serves patrons of different ages and interests throughout the day. While we certainly understand that students wish to visit with friends and let go some of the energy they may have bottled up during classes, we do expect that students, as do other patrons, observe the library's Code of Patron Conduct and treat their classmates, other patrons, and library staff with the same respect and courtesy they would like to receive.
