Book Collections
Patrons who teach in the Minerva Local School District may be given a patron status that will allow them to have up to 500 items checked out at one time. The Youth Services Department manages the teacher collections and can be reached by calling 330-868-4101. The Youth Services staff is willing to gather the number of books you want on the subjects of your choice and grade level your students require. A week's notice for preparing your collection is appreciated.
Class Visits
Library staff are happy to work with local educators to enrich children’s learning. The library offers programs to schools and educators within the library’s service area both at the library and through staff visits to your classroom. Visits by school classes to the library or visits to schools by library staff will be scheduled as time and staffing permit. Visits to the library include a story read by library staff and time for children to select and check out books of their choice.
Parent Teacher Collection
Our Parent Teacher Collection of books and audio-visual materials can be found in the Youth Services Department. The books and magazines in this collection have been chosen to fulfill the research and resource needs of those working with children.
