Hat and Mitten Tree Success

(December 12, 2012)  Thanks to everyone who donated hats, mittens, scarves, and other outerwear items to the hat and mitten tree, and also to the young people in the Minerva Public Library's informal teen after school program who knitted scarves for the tree.  All items were given to the Minerva Salvation Army this week for distribution locally to those in need.  Thank you also  to those who took a tag from the library's Angel Tree and returned it with a gift; you've helped make Christmas brighter for a child in our community.
