As a reminder, Minecraft Unplugged will be tomorrow, July 11th. Unfortunately, we are cancelling our second session, due to lack of interest, and instead are combining the two sessions. Minecraft Unplugged is now one program that starts at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 2 p.m. The program is open for 3rd-8th graders.

Little Builders (ages 1-5) and parents will enjoy books followed by free play with a variety of building sets.

Registration is not required during summer Little Builders

For teens 13 and up.  

Hang out with others who enjoy anime. Since this is our first meeting of the school year, we'll be discussing what to watch, do, and learn in future meetings.

No registration is required. 

We're going on a bear hunt Wednesday, August 30th at 10:30 a.m.

A bear is on the loose! Go over, under, and through various obstacles throughout the library.

Need a good book to read? Come to Minerva Public Library's Book Tasting! Each student will rotate around the room and get a "taste" of various genres of books.

Please do not actually taste the books. Cupcakes will be provided.

For 4th-6th graders. Registration is required.

Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 2:00 p.m.

Graham crackers and icing for building each house will be provided. Please bring one cup of unwrapped candy to help supply a variety of creative decorating choices for everyone.

Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to assist in cottage construction.

The book sale concludes with the $1 a bag sale.  Fill a grocery bag with books for only $1.

The Library Board will hold a special meeting to interview Fiscal Officer candidates and to discuss the selection of a new Fiscal Officer.  The interviews themselves will be held in executive session. 

Saturday, October 28th at 2 p.m.

Hang out with others who enjoy anime. Cosplay is welcome. We'll focus on the horror genre of anime in honor of Halloween.

Minerva Public Library is hosting Lego Day, a Lego building activity for Kindergarten and up.  Parents are encouraged to attend.
