It's that time of year again! Sign up to read with one of our gentle Animal Reading Friends (ARF!) in this program that pairs school age children with dogs to improve their reading skills and foster a lifelong love of reading.

Ages 6 and up. No registration required.

Do you have what it takes to be Minerva Public Library’s next Teen Iron Chef?

If you're headed into 6th-12th grade, sign up to create delicious dishes and compete against your peers! You’ll have three rounds to incorporate a special ingredient and make something scrumptious enough to wow the judges. Registration Required.

Join our librarians at the Minerva Elementary School cafeteria on Friday afternoons (12-12:45 p.m.) this June and July for a tasty, nutritious lunch. Under 18? Your meal is FREE. Over 18? It's only $1 for the whole meal. Once the meal is over, the real fun begins: dance, sing, and listen to stories. Stay til the end for a chance to win cool prizes like restaurant coupons, inflatable guitars, and echo microphones!

All right LEGO fans, get ready... get set... GO!

Join us on Thursday, June 14th and Thursday, July 26th, in the Youth Services Community Room for some brick-tacular fun. For ages 5 and up.

What's slick, sludgy, sticky, and squishy? Why, slime of course! So get ready to get gunky; come make some slime with us on Monday, June 25 from 6:00--7:30 p.m. in the Youth Services department.

Get ready to leap, learn, & dance at this musical storytime presented by Minerva Public Library and the Canton Symphony Orchestra! Listen to two fun picture books accompanied by live instrumental music and see how stories and music can complement one another. Children of all ages and their caretakers are welcome.

Are you ready to rock? Then come to our Rock Science Lab and have fun exploring and experimenting at different rock science stations! (Make sure to sign up first, though... it's only pelite.) Be there ore be square! For ages 6 and up.
