The library is seeking a Library Associate I for a part-time position the Youth Services Department. The job announcement, and a downloadable job description and application form can be found here. Applications will be accepted through Tuesday, May 16.

The library will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 22 and is closed Thursday, November 23 in observance of Thanksgiving Day. The Library Board of Trustees and library staff wish all of you a happy Thanksgiving and safe travels. The library will be open 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, November 24 and 25.
Stop by the library this Saturday, December 9, from 1:00-4:00 for some festive holiday fun. Live music from 1:00-2:00. At 2:00 thrill to a dramatic presentation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. At 3:30, kids can decorate a Grinch cookie to take home, and at 4:00, the Grinch visits Whoville in the animated holiday classic. Light refreshments will be available and you can make an ornament from recycled books to take home. Hope to see you here at the library.

Say goodbye to winter and hello to new reading at the Minerva Public Library spring book sale. The sale runs from Saturday, April 7, at 10:00 am and runs through Saturday, April 14. Books for all ages and interests are for sale at very attractive prices. A selection of magazines, DVDs, music CDs, VHS tapes, and audiobooks is also be available for purchase. This spring there is also a small selection of framed art for sale to spruce up your living space. Sale proceeds support both the purchase of new library materials for you to check out and enjoy this year, and support library programs on interesting topics. The last day, Saturday, April 14, is the ever-popular $1 a bag sale. Mark your calendar and don't miss out.
The Board Packet is prepared each month by the Library administration for the use of the Minerva Public Library Board of Trustees. The Packet contains documents to provide information to, and for review and discussion by, the Trustees. A typical Board Packet will include a meeting agenda, draft minutes for the previous meeting, financial reports for the previous month, and reports from the Library Director and Youth Services Manager.
