The 5th grade classes were filmed for a Mannequin Challenge (a viral video trend where people remain frozen in place like mannequins while a moving camera films them). From May 30th to June 6th, the library is going to see which 5th grade had the BEST video. To vote for your favorite, you may like the picture on Facebook or comment on the YouTube page itself.
You may now also sign up for Teen After Hours. The program will be on Friday, June 16th from 6 p.m.-10 p.m. After the library closes, teens will partake in many activities. Permission slips signed by parents are required. Activities include gaming, trivia, fandom panels, Nerf games, and more.
If you wish to present a fandom panel, please sign up. Registration Required. For 6th-12th grade
Today is the day! You may now sign up for Read To the Dogs (ARF), a program where school age children sign up to read with our gentle golden retriever friends. If you'd like to sign up, please call the library at (330) 868-4101. The ARF program will be on THURSDAYS, June 8- July 27 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Plans are underway to make Minerva as friendly and inviting a community as possible for residents and for businesses and entrepreneurs. To begin this project, which is being assisted by the Ohio Rural Communities Assistance Program based in Fremont, Ohio, an action planning group overseen by the Village of Minerva and the Minerva Area Chamber of Commerce would like to hear your thoughts on your community. Please take a few minutes to complete this simple, five-question survey. The survey will remain "live" and responses will be accepted until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 26. Thanks for your help!
